Here's a few more photos from this trip. The first one shows the view from a LA DWP road northwest of the June Lake Loop. I actually encountered 3 LA DWP trucks on that road. That's rare. They must be doing some maintenance up there.
This one shows Mono Lake in the distance. There was a 1,000 acre wildfire south of the lake that closed off several areas I was planning to explore.
Here's a few shots of some place called the "Devil's Punchbowl" that sits east of 395. Not very spectacular, but odd enough to walk around and explore.
The outhouse atop Bald Mountain is cabled down. Made me wonder just how strong the wind can get up there.
