Today I tried a new product from Ziploc called Zip'n Steam. You simply put some raw or frozen veggies into the bag and toss it into the microwave. In about a minute or two you've got yourself some tasty vittles. To try it out, I ventured into the mysterious and rarely seen produce aisle of my grocery store. Wow, that aisle has sure grown over the years. They had, honestly, about 5 different types of broccoli. So I got myself some broccoli, carrots, snap peas, celery, small red potatoes, onions, and garllic. I figured that would be plenty to mix and match for some tasty snacks, or even meals. After an endless period of chopping vegetables, I tried my first batch. I'm happy to report that it was very good.
Just so you don't think I'm completely helpless, I should say that I've previously been doing the same thing with normal ziplock bags that I vent by poking holes into 1 side with a fork.
