This week has seen several attacks against the Mac OS. I am happy to say that I have not been affected, and I don't expect to be. I don't allow my browser to automatically open most file types, including zip files. Nobody should. I also don't automatically allow random bluetooth connections. Nobody should.
What's most interesting about the whole thing is ... that we may finally be reaching a time when the attackers think it's worth their effort to target Apple's OS. Maybe it's because it's getting harder to attack Linux or Windows. But I think it's just the novelty of it.
